Kara and I are thinking about getting a puppy as a practice baby... Since we don't yet have a fence up in our backyard it'll be mostly an inside dog. We don't want a giant beast tearing up our furniture, so we're thinking small. Our favorite breeds so far are Jack Russell Terrier and Beagle; y'all got any suggestions for other small breeds that we should consider?

Unless you purchase the pup from a respectable pet store, they have no warranty. So it's a good idea to get two of them. And then when one breaks you can install the mod chip without fear. Wait. Am I on the right blog?
