The second term of my game development course started last night; this one is all about graphics. The last course was sooo crappy, but I really think this one is going to be good. The teacher is very knowledgeable and started right off in linear algebra (I love it, no effin' around).
Also, this time we won't be working with a crappy framework provided to us by the teacher. Throughout this term we will be building our own graphics engine from scratch. That's something that gets me excited, because I'll have something I can demo at interviews that'll be all mine. AND, we’ll be extending our engine throughout the next course as well (adding game logic & physics and whatnot). Very cool!
I'm vicariously giddy.
