I was watching X-Play tonight and waddaya know, they were complaining about crappy fixed camera angles as well!! They sum it up so perfectly that I captured it and put it here for all to see. They also did a longer video last year that made fun of these kind of games, check that out here.
Ok, I just have to freak out a bit about how awesome tech devices are becoming. I was able to capture that X-Play clip because it was stored on my Tivo. I hooked up the RCA outs from the Tivo to my digital camcorder and without changing any settings on the camera I was able to capture it as a mpg on the memory stick. I then hooked up the camera to the computer, moved the clip from the camera to the computer and then uploaded it to my server, and there you have it. If you think about all the pieces of hardware and software that had to work to get the clip from cable to webpage, it might just blow your mind! And to make it even better, I was able to use all those bits in such a simple user-friendly way!
You're welcome.

those clips were cool, oh and funny. But wouldn't it have been easier to just hook your tivo up to your compooter? Seems like you went through many steps, and then called it easy.
Well if my computer had RCA video & audio ins, and I had a long RCA cord and software to record the feed into an mpg... which I don't.
I wasn't amazed at how few steps it took, it was how nicely all these devices interacted with each other.
