This comes as no surprise; Molyneux's games are always overly ambitious. I'm willing to give up multiplayer if it means a more solid single player game (since this is where the bulk of the gameplay is going to be spent anyway).
I concur, and as much time as they have spent on making fable and the screenshots provided, I hope the single player will be enormous, and so in depth that one doesn't miss the multi. As far as you know Jake, are you still able to save your game on a memory card and implement it on someone else's game?

From the linked article it sounds like THAT is the multiplayer feature that they are cutting...
