I was going through some archived folders on my computer tonight and I came across a paper that I wrote when I first went back to college. It’s an accounting of my experiences when I camped out for Star Wars tickets (hey, I warned you with the title of this entry). I resisted the temptation to touch the doc up even though parts of it made me cringe... here it is in all its geeky glory.
geekily great, then one week later, didn't you have to wait in line again?! I remember being there early that morning, and then didn't we see it a few hours later...again?! You tell it like it is about dave...When I ask him what time he's going to come over I feel like an auctioneer. 5:30? 6? 6:30? The higher the number, the more realistic it is. One can expect a 1-2 hour delay from the estimated time of arrival, to the Actual time of arrival. This is just safe computing.
