It's my opinion that this thing falls in between the high end game device and the convenient portable device. It's just unnecessary. If I want something fancy I'll get an XBox or whatever next generation device comes out (for less money!). If I want something portable I'd much rather spend half as much and have tons of good games from the SP.
So I think this thing misses the mark. What do you think?
I agree that the $200 price point is a bit steep for a portable (though rumors are that Sony's PSP is going to cost $250-$300!!) Eventually the price will drop though and it might be worth picking up. It promises to provide a new gaming experience than the traditional consoles with dual screens, a touch screen, microphone input, etc. It ALWAYS depends on the software... If there are games worth playing for it, then people will buy it.
