I saw the first screens for Advance Wars DS today and just about wet myself. When Nin first proposed the wacky idea of two screens, one of them touch sensitive, the first thing I thought of was how sweet Advance Wars would be on that system. Looks like I'll be able to see just how sweet it'll be, AND with the added bonus of wireless multiplayer! The list of launch titles for the DS is pretty weak, so I doubt I'll be waiting in line to pick up the machine when it comes out, but expect me there as soon as Advance Wars DS hits the shelves.
It looks to me like they're emphasizing the multiplayer games. Even though there's only a few, I think they hit all the major veins and the people who buy them will be busy for a while (as long as their friends have the same games...).
On the other hand, there's not a single game in the list that I'd want to play. So maybe you have a point about waiting.
I'm at Jakes house RIGHT NOW! It's so awesome here! He has this big TV and all these video games. We stayed up way past my normal bed time! We talked about nerdy things like video games, computers, software and the Internet all night and all day. I love Jake.
