Today marks round two of my battle with the blister beetle. Dr. Curda (which, BTW, is the BEST doctor I’ve ever had!!) said that I had a good response with the first treatment, and there’s hope that this time we might get it all. The nurse was kind enough to tell me that it hurts even more the second time (very reassuring) but it’s been almost six hours and the pain hasn’t kicked in yet. The last time was the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced, so it should be a pretty fun next few days. At least I got my orthotics today, which should make my feet happy! I can’t believe my shins hurt SO much today because I walked for 2 miles, 2 days ago!!
