Curry, TV, and Boardgames

Last night Kara and I met Dave and Shanlyn at an Indian restaurant called Got Curry? The name is horrible, but the food was pretty good. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala and Kara got Aloo Gobi (which I stole a bit of). After dinner we went back to Dave’s and watched LOST. It was a slower paced episode than normal, but still very good. I was surprised at how much time they spent on the “I never” scene; it lasted quite a while, and it really seemed like more of a movie scene than a scene from a TV show. After LOST, we decided to play a game. I had brought Alhambra and Ticket to Ride; I suggested Alhambra but Dave and Kara wanted to play Ticket... so Ticket it was. I ended up KILLING them with a Miami-LA run and five other medium length routes. Dave would have been close had he completed his cross country run (I think NY-LA) but he just couldn’t get the black cards he needed.
