I spent a bunch of time last night changing this site... but good luck trying to find what I changed! You give? The images in the current media section are now hosted off my site instead of from random sites (netflix, gamerankings, allmusic, etc). I decided to make the change because I didn’t want my archives to slowly become a graveyard of broken links!
A rad byproduct to the automation that made the conversion is this webpage. A record of my media consumption that looks pretty damn cool!
Future ‘currents’ posts will now need the images copied to my server and that’s where my Movie Lookup program comes in. First off, I’ve updated it to handle games, cds, and books alongside the original movies (guess that means the program needs a new name). I also plan to add an additional button that will retrieve the image, upload it to lessthanme, and then alter the image source to point to the local location!
