I finally got the TV and sound system all set up last night (minus cable and internet which arrives this Saturday). This means I’m all ready to start up the video game addiction again. So I examined my game collection to determine how many games I have yet to beat before I go out and start buying new ones.
Xbox:
I beat Fable last weekend which has closed out the Xbox category of “games I deem worthy to beat.” There are currently no Xbox games out that I want to buy.
PS2:
I’m at the final boss in both Final Fantasy X and Ratchet & Clank 2. It’d take a lot of boring leveling up to beat the boss in FFX, so I’m giving up and trading it off. R&C2 is still beatable though, so I’m holding on to it. I started playing Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy this morning (I got it for 10 bucks when Micah, Dave, and I teamed up on a "buy two get one free" deal) and it appears to have some promise. It’ll probably be the game that gets most of my attention in the next week(s). I’ve planned on picking up Sly Cooper 2 and Ratchet & Clank 3 since they were released. I’ll probably buy them used in the next few weeks.
Gamecube:
The only game I’ve yet to beat on GC is Pikmin 2. I played it a bunch on rainy days in Hawaii and I haven’t played it since I got back from vacation! I really enjoyed it (it made my top games of 2004 list) and I fully intend to beat it. Other than that, it looks as though the Gamecube will be a dust collector until Zelda comes out in Q4... Get it together, Nintendo... GEEZ!
