Yesterday I rode my 200th mile on my new bike. I bought it less than a month ago...

You Go Jake!

Thats funny that you say that, because I was just saying yesterday that I want a really really nice mountain bike because having one would totally motivate me to ride again..
I wanted to actually start riding to work which would be a 40 mile round trip per day, but my wife and my Dad are totally discouraging me from doing that becuase they say that it would totally wear me out, but I used to ride from Gresham to Clackam as everday even though thats not as far as Molalla to Clackamas..
There are more hills to, but still...
Don't you think I could do it, and if I did, do you have any idea how much fat I would be losing??
Whoooo Wheeee..
Man, am I ever yacking up a storm..
Ok, I am done for now, but I shall return oh Jake the great and mighty ;)

ABC OUT.

Just testing to see if I can use the style tags to format the actualy tesxt here..
Shoot, I guess that doesnt work..
Ok, I'm outty 5000...

Dude, i just looked at my spelling and it was utterly crappy...
I have to check that better next time.
Sorry dude..

Gotta say, 20 miles each way is a bit extreme. I'd say I go about 10 mph on average, so if you go as fast as I do, it'd take you 2 hours each way!

A lot of 213 is kinda scary to ride a bike on (until you get to OC where it's nice with shoulders). The other routes seem circuitous, though.

If you're in shape, you can probably average 15 mph which means it'd be an hour and a half each way.

And there are hills. You'd be sweaty and tired. But if you don't use your legs at work, and you don't care if you're sweaty, and you don't mind the really long and partly scary commute, it's a good deal. You'd be down to 135 lbs in no time.

And this comment textarea is way too small for huge comments like this, Jake. You have "cols=30". Change it to at least 50. Most text editors wrap at 78 or so.

Billy: "But if the comment pane is too small, people won't want to leave large comments."

Jake: "Exactly."

I hear your complaints about the width of this stupid box. I tried changing it to 50 back when you both first complained, but it didn't change anything. There's some weird stylesheet thing keeping it to 30 columns, so I've got to dig deeper to actually deal with the problem...
