Heroes

Ok people… Next time a show like Heroes comes out, do me a favor and tell me that I need to watch it. I mean, I know that I should have figured it out on my own, but that doesn’t excuse you from your duties!

What made me check it out? Chris and Kieran were visiting last week and the show came up. They were describing some of the superpowers and they said something about the 9th Wonders comic book. “Oh, the show is based on a comic book?” I asked. “No, there’s a comic book in the show about the characters… One of the guys sees the future and paints about them without realizing it’s real.”

Are you kidding me? And I’m not watching this show?!?

So, I downloaded the first episode with bit torrent a few days ago and Kara & I watched it last night around 10:00pm… and we were instantly hooked! We got on to iTunes and downloaded and watched the second episode right away. And then the third, and fourth, and fifth episodes. And THEN we watched episodes six and seven which were on our Tivo…

Yeah, we watched all seven episodes one after another… 5.25 commercial-free hours. We finished at 3:30am.

yeah tony probably tried to get you to watch that show, but he tries to get everyone to watch everything.

Sounds like a show I'll have to buy on DVD when it comes out. My family and I are watching season 2 of Lost on DVD right now. We're on disc 5, and I have to say the DVD is definitely the way to go. We're super addicted to it, I'm sad to say.

Sorry...When we chatted it sounded like you had very little time for another show. It's all my fault for not pushing you. Can you EVER forgive me? What kind of friend am I?!?! ...and....scene.

3:30am huh? I wonder what your dreams were about? ;)

I didn't know I was allowed to recommend cool sh** to you.

Now I know better.

Heroes rocks.

If you still read my blog, you'd have known about the show weeks ago.

Yeah, it really was my fault that I didn't pick up Heroes sooner. I saw your post, Scott told me that the show was cool, I saw clips of the show on TV... I just needed someone to strap me down, hold open my eyelids, and make me watch the show.

I did the same thing with LOST when it first came on and I had to play catch up five or so episodes in.

I must say...there are few shows that make me have to stay up until 3:30 in the morning. It was tough...my eyelids were killing me by the end but there just wasn't a good stopping point. Every episode left you with the feeling of having to watch the next episode right then. What is strange for me to think about is my mom was getting up for work right about as we were heading to bed.

ummm... didn't you guys just move or something? I need your new address.

you're ahead of us! we're at least two episodes behind due to the hawaii trip.

and hey, thanks for having us! we have an extra bedroom in seattle whenever you need it.

also, i have to say, i find it hard to believe that kara stayed up until 3 am.

i think your comments are using samoa time...

Looks like comment time was off due to the daylight savings time switch? It's right now...

My month old work PC had no cookie from lessthanme, but now it does. Thanks for posting.
