Well, I've been back in the States for just over a week and I've been feeling REALLY lazy! But I'm forcing myself to get back on my blog and update everything. I wrote 240 pages in my journals (I had to buy a second one in Berlin because I filled the first one up) and I'll be typing it all up over the next month or so. I haven't figured out exactly how I'm going to present all of this stuff yet (map, journal entries, pictures) but I'm hoping to integrate them all together somehow. So beyond just typing up the entries, I've got a bit of backend work to do as well. Zenphoto (my gallery software) just released a new version of the software that finally handles sub-albums, so I'm in the process of upgrading that at the moment. All of this should keep me pretty busy for a while, but that will actually be good since I have a whole lot of free time right now!!
Alright, I'm going to get crackin'. Stay tuned for all the Europe-y goodness!
Can't wait! I need something interesting to look at during my workday... :)
the blog is great. but publish! publish!
write a framing introduction about the way you crazy people moved from seattle to portloand to maui, decided to quit your jobs and move to australia, and spent the in between time traveling around europe.
then write the travel experiences in the way that you do. you write well.
you finish with heading off to australia.
you seriously have a book in this with not much more effort than it would take you to write everything up for your blog.
